Stand-alone seismograph, for seismology and local events monitoring.
This unit is designed for the recording and automatic storage of every seismic event either on internal SD memory or by sending data to the collection centre according to the modes set. It can be totally handled from PC using usb interface (local-control) or by web (remote-control).

To recover data filed in the unit you can either use the USB connection or the GSM/GPRS modules integrated.
The high technological content and flexibility of Sismalog ensure the maximum accuracy in the data acquisition, as well as an extremely ease of use and immediacy during the configuration operations. Sismalog is an acquisition unit that can be handled  by remote-control; it is provided with high resolution acquisition card (24 bit), with sampler dedicated to every input channel.

The flexible architecture of the unit ensures its stand-alone and online functioning:

- in the stand-alone functioning the alarm management is based on the continuous interpretation of the input signals on the 3 channels; when the thresholds (which can be set singularly with one or more channels for a settable time) are exceeded, this causes the alarm signal by remote – control through sms (max.5 digits) and the alarm by local-control through the relay activation.

The alarm condition also determines the event recording on SD memory for a settable time (always after the event) in order to allow a further elaboration. In order to download data, the customer needs to use the EGsm-D gsm interface.

- in the online functioning the unit continuously sends the acquisition data of the 3 channels either by lan network (preferential channel) or gprs (secondary channel). In case of lack of both  transmission channels, the unit starts the local-control recording until their restore. The acquisition centre will analyze the data, will determine epicentres and magnitude and will warn the competent authorities.

In any of these modes, it is possible to signal the alarm originated by the digital inputs.

Such features related to the stand-alone functioning as the alarm by sms or the possibility to send data by gprs and to download data in gsm mode, require the use of a sim card (data enabled) inside the unit and inside the EGsm-D (optional).

Because it is designed as scalable solution it is possible to modulate the number of channels according to the customer needs regarding installation and fulfillment of the monitoring:

- pourchase of more 3 channel-sismalog units and connection by LAN or 3G

- purchase of the centralized version with rack 19' 3U assembling in 3 channel-modules
