Typical Granier Sap Flow Sensor with two needles. For trees with a diameters >2 cm.Sap flow sensors are used to continuously measure water uptake in trees and woody plants. The SF-G range corresponds to the classic two-needle model developed in 1985 by André Granier. It requires use of the CCS to feed the current.
Constant Current Source (CCS) for 3 Sap Flow Sensors (SF-L or SF-G or mixed). One CCS supplies up to 3 sensors and consumes 1 W (12 V x 84 mA DC, stabilized).
Improved Granier Sap Flow Sensor with four needles and a much higher accuracy. For trees diameter >15 cm. It requires use of the CCS to feed the current.
The Radius Dendrometer DRW is the ruggedized version of the DR dendrometer.Additionally to the features of the simple DR version, the DRW dendrometer is modified for the use under especially harsh environmental conditions.
The Radial Dendrometer DDW is the ruggedized version of the DD-L dendrometer type.In addition to the features of the simple DD-L version, the DDW dendrometer is modified for the use under especially harsh environmental conditions.
The sensor is fixed by two special screws, anchored in the trunk wood. The changes outside of the trunk wood correspond to radial growth and diurnal diameter variation. The arrangement ensures high stability for long-term measurements.
The Radial Dendrometer DD-S is designed specifically for agricultural plants, small trees and branches (diameter < 5 cm). Due to the patented mounting method, the dendrometer provides stable readings also for very small plants.
The diameter sensor is mounted with a patented fixture at the plant. The sensor remains stable fixed at the measuring point without exerting excessive pressure on the measuring point. The model is suitable for diameter of 3-30 cm.
The Circumference Dendrometer is the simpler version for the measurement of circumference changes of plants.
The DC3 has the same layout as the DC2. Only the sensor measuring range is greater than with the DC2. This meets the measurement requirements of fast- growing trees.
The Fruit and Vegetable Dendrometer is the special dendrometer version for measurements on circular fruiting bodies. The fruit in the measuring frame is firmly fixed without affecting its growth. The frame sustains the weight of the target and relives the peduncle.
The DRO Dendrometer is designed for continuous measurement of roots, aquatic plants and creepers.
The Vertical growth dendrometer is designed to determine vertical changes (not growth) of trees continuously.
The DL18 is a battery powered, weather proof, 4- channel data logger. It runs on an internal battery more than one year. It is suitable for long-term monitoring tree growth.
This sensor is discontinued, we recommend the DC3 version improved. The elastic force of the sensor is not applied in tangential, but in radial direction
LS 40 - LAT-C Leaf temperature sensor for conifer needles. Extremely lightweight. Direct, highly precise and continuous measurements of needle AND air temperature, range between -20 and +70°C. Spatial signal integration via multiple measurement points at the surface of several needles. Suitable for needle sizes > 3 mm length. Analogue sensor outputs...
Mini-Systems with Data Logger DL18-BLE
► LAT Leaf-to-Air-Temperature sensors are used for direct and continuous high-precision temperature measurements on broad leaves.► The measured temperature parameters include absolute temperatures of the leaf surface, leaf-surrounding ambient air (Tair), and the temperature difference between leaf surface and ambient air (ΔTleaf-to-air).► These devices...
◆ Heat-pulse sap flow sensors (just as with TDP sap flow sensors) also work on a temperature-based measuring principles.◆ The difference however, is that HP sap flow sensor does not require continuous heating, but only a short heat pulse of a few seconds is applied.◆ Depending on the measurement method used, the direction-dependent propagation as well as...
