The 8K 1922L Thermochron® iButton is a robust, self-contained data logger that measures temperature.
The internal battery, lasting up to 10 years, ensures that there will be no additional maintenance costs with battery changes.
The stainless steel capsule is extremely resistant to extreme environments, mechanical shocks, humidity, dust and dirt.
The memory stores up to 8192 time-tagged samples, taken at regular configurable intervals from 1 second to 273 hours.

Each Thermochron has a unique identification number laser etched during manufacture, to ensure unique traceability.

There are various mounting accessories available to fix the Thermochron to almost any object, including boxes, pallets, bags, trees, smooth surfaces, electronic instruments, etc.

To program the Thermochron you need ExpressThermo software and a communication cable.

Application
The DS1922L is an ideal device to monitor for extended periods of time the temperature of any object it is attached to or shipped with, such as fresh produce, medical drugs and supplies and for use in refrigerators and freezers.

Note that the initial sealing level of DS1922L achieves the equivalent of IP56. Aging and use conditions can degrade the integrity of the seal over time, so for applications with significant exposure to liquids, sprays, or other similar environments, it is recommended to place the Thermochron in the DS9107 iButton Capsule.
