Atago PAL-BX-Salt Digital Hand-held “Pocket” Brix-Salt Meter

◆ This is a hybrid of refractometer and salt meter which has an optical prism that is used to measure the concentration (Brix) and a titanium electrode that is used to measure the salt contents.
It enables to check the balance between concentration (Brix) and salt that is the decisive factor for taste in foods in general.

◆ In addition, we have eliminated the dilution which is required for salt measurements, especially for concentrated samples like in sauces.
The salt concentration of samples with high concentrations such as in sauces can now be measured without dilutions.
