Thanks to a conversion system with very high resolution (18 bits) and a programmable processor and a very low power consumption, it is the ideal interface to transform signals of different types generated from various instruments, sensors or transducers, into standard signals, suitable to be read and / or acquired by the most common devices on the market, such as data loggers, multimeters, computers or processing systems such as PLC and DCS.

Once the range and type of electrical input signal (analog or digital) have been defined, a standard output can be selected and associated with a specific measurement range. For example, Pt100 signals can be programmed with different ranges (i.e. -40 ° C to + 60 ° C and 0 to + 80 ° C), by linking to the same output (i.e. 0 to 2 VDC) , or to the same input associate different outputs.

By selecting the output as digital type, it is possible to have a real time reading of the input signal values ​​directly on the RS485 line (not isolated).

With this device, it is also possible to create "analog" counting systems that automatically resets them to zero if the counter exceeds the set full scale value.

The device is pre-calibrated by high precision systems, and programmed at the customer's request.

Optionally, a simple USB interface (USB-MCS-I) is provided that includes software and allows direct association of input - output type, zero and span adjustment.
