Ver Vídeo Precission Amplified Pyranometer

The Sensor measures: Solar Light 360nm to 1120nm
Output Signal: mV
Cable Length: 5 meters
Power Supply: 2,5 to 24 Vdc
Sensor for use in: Outdoor & Underwater

Apogee SP-212 Piranometer that measures solar radiation in W m-2 for solar, agricultural, meteorological, and hydrological applications.
Self-cleaning dome-shaped head prevents water accumulation.
Sensor head is potted solid to prevent internal condensation in humid environments.
Requires 2.5 to 24 Vdc power supply.

The SP-2 is an amplified sensor with a 0-5 volt output and exhibits excellent cosine response. All Apogee pyranometers incorporate a silicon-cell photodiode that measures total shortwave radiation with a sensor housing design that features a fully potted, domed-shaped head making the sensor fully weatherproof and self-cleaning. Total shortwave radiation is an important component in determining evapo-transipration rates, energy balance, net radiation as well as monitoring solar power panels.

Power Supply: 2.5-24 VDC with a nominal current draw of 300 μA

Connecting the SP-212 Sensor

The SP-212 is amplified with a 2.5V supply.

WIRING THE SENSOR
Attach the sensor to a meter or datalogger capable of displaying or recording a mV output.

In 'Connector Options', you can choose to have the sensor with a connector for a HOBO Data Logger.

The model, serial number, production date, and conversion factor are located on the sensor cable.

Mounting the Pyranometer
Mount the pyranometer sensor to a solid surface with the nylon mounting bolt. The sensor should be mounted level for the most accurate measurements. We recommend using our leveling plate (AL-100).

The pyranometer sensor should be mounted with the cable pointing toward true north in the northern hemisphere or true south in the southern hemisphere to minimize azimuth error. The azimuth error is typically less than 1%.
