The AO-RDFT/A humidity and temperature sensor measures the temperature and selectively the relative humidity, absolute humidity, air fuel ratio or dew point of the ambient air and transforms it to a linear output signal 0-10 V or 4-20 mA. The secondary measuring value is selectable from the 4 measurement categories % r.H., g/m³, g/kg, DP by a DIP switch. The unobtrusive housing with snap fastening and torque/pole-protected plug is suitable for quick mounting in suspended ceilings. The humidity and temperature transducer can be adjusted locally for fine calibration by an offset controller. In addition, the humidity measuring instrument has an integrated heating function for sensor protection in the high humidity range of 95...99% r.H. If the relative humidity exceeds the factory-preset threshold value for more than 10 minutes, this heating function is activated. Then the sensor will be temporally heated, thus dried respectively protected against condensation. During the heating and subsequent temperature compensation phase, the output signal is kept stable on the last measurement value before the protective function was activated.
