Non-contact Infrared Road Surface Temperature Sensor AO-IRS2E
AO-IRS2E is a Non-intrusive Infrared Road Surface temperature sensor.
The optical analysis system is installed in a compact aluminium shell.
A 90° adjustable mounting bracket allows easy installation of the unit.
It is designed for industrial, outdoor 7/24 monitoring.

AO-IRS2E is composed of a thermopile and a thermistor and works on a basic principle that all objects with a temperature above absolute zero emit electromagnetic radiation.
The wavelengths and intensity of the emitted radiation are related to the temperature of the object.
By measuring the energy of its own infrared radiation, AO-IRS2E can obtain the temperature of a surface.
