True handheld convenience for field work or remote sensing! - Use the PSR-1100f’s LCD function display to take scans and store up to 2500 spectra, so the unit can be operated without a laptop or tablet.

Or use the optional ALGIZ 8X rugged handheld tablet running DARWin LT on Windows 10 to control the PSR-1100f via Bluetooth. SPECTRAL EVOLUTION offers the ALGIZ 8X tablet preloaded with all necessary software to run all Bluetooth enabled SPECTRAL EVOLUTION Spectrometers. The ALGIZ 8X can be used to tag spectra with GPS readings, photos (with its built-in digital camera) and voice notes with its built in microphone.

The PSR-1100f can be ordered with a range of accessories for field and laboratory use, including:

- Leaf clips—specifically designed for leaf reflec-tance measurements with a built-in white plate, small spot, and low power illumination. Perform measurements on a very small leaf area without damaging the sample.
- Tungsten halogen contact probe—easy-to-use with a built-in light source, it is well-suited for vegetation reflectance studies in the field.
- FOV lenses—with a 25° FOV fiber optic cable with an industry standard FC connector, the PSR-1100f can be equipped with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, , 8 and 10° FOV lenses to meet your application requirements
- ALGIZ 8X rugged handheld tablet—with a sunlight readable display for viewing spectra, the ability to store an almost limitless number of scans, and the capability of tagging scans with images from its digital camera, and GPS coordinates—ALGIZ 8X is the perfect complement to the PSR-1100f in the field.

Accessories compatible with the PSR-1100f:

  • ACC040000: pistol grip fiber holder. To hold the fiber optic (or install it on a tripod) and trigger the scan directly from the holder.
  • LSH040001: Contact probe: has a built in light source. Designed to take direct contact measurements without sunlight.
  • CLP040001L Leaf-clip to take measurements of single leaves. See the video here
